We had a great time with Ronnie and Brookie at the annual tour de brewers. The run is about 6 miles and stops at each of the 4 local craft breweries in Birmingham. It was a perfect day with fun friends combining 2 of our favorite things, running and craft beer!

I love this race but it was my first year to run the 10miler. Wow! The hills! Thanks for running with me Brookie!
Day 4! We made it to marathon day! Chris stayed with ME again and off we went. I love the full course! The last 3-4 miles are in Hollywood Studios and Epcot, just when you want to quit the support is amazing! We finished the day in Animal Kingdom and Epcot.
Day 2- Another early morning and thankful for Chris who came to stay with our kiddo! The 10k runs roads and through Epcot. Mike and I had a great time and stepped on the finish line together. Then we headed back to the hotel for a day full of Disney magic :)
Day 3- Our friend Chris ran the half with us and his daughter stayed with ME. This was my toughest day just because I was tired! I love the course though and we had fun. Afterwards we went to Hollywood Studios and Epcot!
The challenge begins! It was super cold with a wind chill in the 20s but we did it! ME had a blast even if we were cold.
My favorite race of the year! Vulcan is a 10k that runs through Birmingham. PR 56:49!
PR!! 2:07 finish! The UCP 1/2 is an amazing race. Hotel is the Marriott Shoals, course is rolling through TVA property, post race food included 1/2 a chicken and all the fixings! What more is there to say?
Hottest half ever but great shirt and bling :) Mike was still recovering from surgery so it was just me running. 2:17 finish, my slowest time but considering humidity I was okay with it. We toured Elivis's birthplace after the race!
